When I came across an article about Amtrak replacing its aging fleet of trains,I'll admit, I kinda got excited! My daughters and I had made the epic 4-day Amtrak ride across America (from New York to Los Angeles) once, and saw its massive potential if only its aging fleet were refreshed. So I was immediately hopeful that Amtrak might be upgrading its giant cross-country trains, and lure us back for another trek.
